One Year Down, Forever To Go

Where has the time gone? Rewind 365 days and my life would soon change forever. Was I ready and excited? Absolutely. Was I certain David was the one? Without doubt. However, for those of you who are experiencing marital bliss, you understand the uncertainties that come after saying those two precious words “I do”.

This last year has been nothing less of amazing. I thank God everyday for the opportunity of going through life with my best friend. Of course it hasn’t always been a piece of cake (we have come to know a lot about each other) BUT by the grace of God we are definitely more in love now than when we became Mr. and Mrs.

In order to remember our first anniversary I decided it would be fun to slip into our wedding attire and have a mini one-year anniversary photo shoot. Luckily for me, I have a super cooperative husband AND I know an amazing photographer who just so happens to be one of my best friends (side note- if you live in the Kirksville area you should definitely check out Infinite Joy Photography). Even though we picked one of the windiest days of the spring, she was still able to capture these amazing photos that we will cherish forever.

Without further ado, I hope you enjoy these photos as much as we do.

And what better way to finish the shoot than to eat some of our saved wedding cake (after all, isn’t that tradition?) Despite what we were anticipating, it was amazing!  Below is my favorite shot from this moment–us being our goofy selves.

Here is to Year #2–I can’t wait to see what it has in store.
